Attention sarcoidosis warriors! If you are interested in helping advance sarcoidosis research, we have an opportunity you may be interested in. National Jewish Health is conducting a study for sarcoidosis in Denver, CO, and they need participants! The purpose of this study is to learn more about and define the different manifestations of sarcoidosis in an effort to predict how the disease develops over time.
If eligible, participation will include up to two visits to National Jewish Health. Research procedures include a blood draw, a bronchoscopy (a procedure that allows doctors to examine your airways), and possibly a chest x-ray and a pulmonary function test. Compensation for testing is provided.
Eligible participants for this study must be:
- Adult nonsmokers
- Have biopsy-proven sarcoidosis
- Are not on immunosuppressive therapy
