Great Party – Great Cause! On Saturday, February 9, 2013, The Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) hosted K.I.S.S. (Kick in to Stop Sarcoidosis) at the River East Art Center in downtown Chicago. The magical Arabian Nights-themed evening brought together almost 300 supporters to raise funds for sarcoidosis research.
Guests enjoyed delights of the One Thousand and One variety featuring live camels, a snake charmer, a belly-dancer, and even a monkey, along with a “KISSino” offering craps, blackjack, and roulette! Entertaining Company provided delicious delicacies inspired by the flavors of the Middle East. A soirée fit for sultans, K.I.S.S. Chicago 2013 transported guests to another fantastical world on a quest to find a cure for this disease.
Proceeds from the event fund FSR’s research and educational initiatives, which are the core of the Foundation’s mission.
