The 2018 application period is closed for this grant opportunity.
FSR accepted applications for Stipend Awards to the day-long Postgraduate Course dedicated to sarcoidosis at the 2018 ATS meeting to be held in San Diego, CA. In support of physician/researcher focus on sarcoidosis, FSR provided additional funding for selected applicants to encourage attendance and continued interest in this disease space.
The emphasis of the Postgraduate Course is to develop a fundamental appreciation of many of the facets of sarcoidosis necessary to establish a comprehensive sarcoidosis clinic. The course features a number of excellent speakers, and highlights multidisciplinary discussions of difficult issues in diagnosis and therapy at the end of each half day.
FSR offered eight stipends in the amount of $500(US) in our mission to ensure sarcoidosis receives focused and educational forums for further research and care provision for patients. Any questions about this opportunity or the 2019 grant cycle may be addressed to Noopur Singh, Research Manager of the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research at noopur@stopsarcoidosis.org with the subject heading: Sarcoidosis Stipend Award Application
