Purpose 

Xentria, Inc. has partnered with the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research for the XTMAB16 Study. XTMAB-16 is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor that aims to target the inflammatory response known to occur in patients living with sarcoidosis. The purpose of this study is to measure the safety, tolerability and potential effectiveness of XTMAB-16 in participants with pulmonary sarcoidosis with or without other organ manifestations.

What you need to know about the study 

The trial is broken up into two phases – Phase A and Phase B.  The study duration will be 12 weeks for Phase A and 24 weeks for Phase B.  Phase A aims to determine the medication dosage schedule for Phase B.

Participants enrolled in Part A will not participate in Part B.

Who can participate in the trial?

Potential Participants must meet the following criteria:

• Participants must be between 18 and 80 years of age.
• Weighs between 99 to 353 lbs.
• Have a diagnosis of pulmonary sarcoidosis at least six months before screening
• Be actively taking steroids and one of the following – methotrexate, azathioprine, mycophenolate, leflunomide, chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine for at least 3 months before screening.
